At The Jubilee Academy we believe that school uniform plays a valuable role in contributing to the ethos of the school and to the setting of an appropriate tone. We believe that our uniform can: instil pride; support positive behaviour and discipline; encourage identify with, and support for, school ethos; ensure that students feel welcome; protect students from social pressures to dress in a certain way; nurture cohesion and promote good relations between different groups of students.
We want our students to wear their uniform with pride. Parents and students will be given full details of how to obtain uniform during their induction meeting. Students are expected to wear a Jubilee Academy tie and a Jubilee Academy v-neck black jumper.
